No. You can install any VPNmine app and connect without creating an account. An account — with email, Google or Apple — keeps your settings across devices and signs you into every app at once, and it will be required for the paid tier when that launches. If you make one, you can delete it from Settings in one tap.
Without an account
Install, approve the system's VPN prompt, pick a country, connect. The app registers the device with a random identifier so it can hand out a configuration and limit abuse; no email is involved.
With an account
Your settings follow you from the phone to the laptop to the TV, and one sign-in covers all of them. Sign in with email, Google or Apple. When the paid tier arrives, the account is what a subscription attaches to. Deletion is a button in Settings and a page on the web and removes the account and its data immediately.
