VPN for PlayStation
There is no VPN app for PlayStation from any provider: PS5 and PS4 run store software only, and no VPN client is in that store. Console VPN happens upstream — on the router, or via a shared computer connection. VPNmine issues no router configurations today, so a PlayStation is not covered yet.

The state of it
No app, by platform design
Sony's store carries no VPN clients, for PS5 or PS4, from any provider. A search result promising one leads to a router tutorial or a DNS product every time.
The workarounds, honestly rated
Router-level VPN covers a console but needs provider configuration files, which VPNmine does not issue yet. Sharing a VPN-connected computer's connection to the console is a known pattern with desktop VPN apps generally; we have not validated it with the VPNmine Windows app and will not claim it.
Cover the rest of the setup
The TV the console plugs into can run the free VPNmine app if it is Android TV, Google TV or Apple TV, and the desktop and phone apps are live today on the same account.
PlayStation questions
Is there a VPN app for PS5 or PS4?
No — from anyone. PlayStation consoles run store software only and no VPN client exists there. Providers advertising PlayStation support mean a VPN on your router or a shared connection from a computer, and now you know to read their fine print that way.
Can I use a VPN with PlayStation Remote Play instead?
Partly. Remote Play runs on your phone or computer, where the VPNmine apps do work, so the streaming session from those devices can ride the tunnel. The console's own connection to Sony's network stays on your normal IP either way.
Does the PS5's DNS setting do anything VPN-like?
No. It changes which service resolves names, nothing more — no encryption, no new IP address. DNS-based streaming products market themselves alongside VPNs on console guides, which is where the confusion comes from.
