Free VPN for Mac
The native VPNmine app for macOS is in preparation and cannot be downloaded yet. On a Mac today, the VPNmine extension for Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox routes your browsing through the same 19-country network, and the account you create now will sign straight into the desktop app when it ships.

What works on a Mac today
Install the browser extension
The Chrome and Firefox extensions run in Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox on macOS and route browsing through the same servers as the apps. They cover the browser rather than the whole machine — which, on most Macs, is where the traffic that matters actually is.
Keep one account
Sign in with the same email, Google or Apple account in the extension now and in the desktop app later. Settings follow the account, not the device.
Check back for the app
This page will carry the download the day the macOS build is published, and the coming-soon row in every app list will turn into a link.
macOS questions
Is there a VPNmine app for Mac?
Not yet as a native download — the macOS client is in preparation. The VPNmine extension for Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox works on any Mac today and routes browsing through the same servers the desktop app will use.
Will the Mac app be free?
Yes, on the same terms as every other VPNmine app: the full server pool, no ads and no payment details. A paid tier will arrive across all platforms later, and the apps will say so before it does.
Can I use a VPN in the browser on a Mac instead?
Yes. A browser extension protects the browser's traffic rather than the whole machine, which is a real limitation but covers web browsing, and it takes about thirty seconds to add. The VPNmine extension is free and works in Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox on macOS.
