One account, every screen
VPNmine is a free, no-logs VPN service. It runs its own OpenVPN server network across 18 regions and ships native apps for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV and Apple TV, plus browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox. One account covers every device, with no ads and no card required.
What VPNmine actually does
Servers we run ourselves
Every endpoint is a VPNmine OpenVPN server we rent, configure and monitor. No recycled public relay lists, no volunteer nodes carrying your traffic.
No record of where you go
We store which server you connected to and when, because abuse handling needs it. Your browsing, DNS lookups and traffic content are never written down.
Native apps for the big screen
Android TV and Apple TV get real remote-first apps built for the platform, not a phone layout stretched across the room.
A real desktop client on Windows and macOS
The same tunnel, the same server pool and the same account on the machine you work from. Not a browser add-on pretending to be a VPN, and not a phone build squeezed into a window.
Browser extension when a full tunnel is overkill
Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox route through the same network at the browser level, so the rest of the machine stays on your own connection.
Leave without emailing anyone
Account deletion is a button in Settings and a page on the web. It removes your account and its data instead of opening a support ticket.
Three taps from install to connected
Install
Grab the app for your desktop, phone, TV or browser. No account needed to look around.
Pick a country
Choose from the server list, or let VPNmine pick the closest one for you.
Connect
One tap opens an encrypted OpenVPN tunnel. The rest of the device carries on as normal.
18 regions to connect through
Every location runs on hardware VPNmine rents and configures. Pick one by hand, or let the app choose the closest.

What we store, and what we never touch
A VPN that promises zero data is not being straight with you. Here is the real split.
Stored
- Your email address, if you create an account
- A random device id, platform and app version
- Which server you connected to, and when
- Coarse events such as app opened or connection started
Never touched
- The sites and apps you open
- DNS queries made through the tunnel
- The contents of your traffic
- Bandwidth inspection of any kind
Why you can check what we claim
Every VPN says it respects your privacy. These are the four things that make the claim verifiable rather than a slogan.
We run the servers
Every endpoint is hardware VPNmine rents and configures. No recycled public relay lists, and no routing your traffic through other people's devices to fund a free tier.
The logging policy is specific
The privacy policy names each category we store, why, and for how long, rather than claiming a vague zero. A provider that will not say what it keeps is telling you something.
Leaving takes one tap
Account deletion is a button in Settings and a page on the web. It removes the account and its data immediately instead of opening a ticket.
No ads, no trackers, no resale
No advertising SDK runs in the apps today. We do not sell personal data, and the website measures page views without cookies or a visitor id.
Pricing, in plain terms
VPNmine is free while the network grows. A paid tier will come later, and nobody gets charged without being told first.
Free// no card, no trial
Includes
- The full premium server pool
- Unlimited data and no session cap
- Phone, tablet, TV and browser
- No ads anywhere in the app
- No payment details, ever, on this tier
Later
Premium, when it arrives
A paid tier is planned once the network is bigger. Leave your address and you will hear about it from us rather than from a surprise paywall.
Questions people ask
Is VPNmine really free?
Yes. The whole premium server pool is open to every user today, with no ads and no payment details. A paid tier will arrive later, and this page will change before it does.
Does VPNmine keep logs of what I browse?
No. We record which server a session used and when it ran, which is what abuse handling and capacity planning need. We do not record browsing history, DNS queries or traffic content, so there is nothing to hand over or leak.
Is a free VPN safe to use?
It depends entirely on how the provider makes money. Free VPNs that sell traffic, inject ads or route you through other users' devices are worse than no VPN. VPNmine runs its own servers, shows no ads, and publishes exactly what it stores, so you can check the claim rather than trust it.
Does VPNmine work on Android TV?
Yes. Android TV gets a native app built for a remote, not a stretched phone layout. Install it from the Play Store on the TV, sign in, and pick a country from the server list.
Is there a VPN app for Apple TV?
Yes. VPNmine ships a native tvOS app for Apple TV, built with SwiftUI and the system VPN framework. Apple TV has only supported VPN apps since tvOS 17, which is why most providers still do not offer one.
Can I use VPNmine on Windows and Mac?
Yes. There are desktop clients for both Windows and macOS that open the same OpenVPN tunnel to the same server pool as the mobile apps, signed in with the same account.
Which protocol does VPNmine use?
OpenVPN, with AES encryption, on every desktop, mobile and TV client. The browser extension proxies through the same network over HTTPS or SOCKS5 instead, because an extension cannot open a system-wide tunnel.
How many devices can I use at once?
There is no device limit today. One account signs in on as many of your own devices as you like, subject only to the abuse controls that keep a free service usable for everyone.
Do I need an account?
You can connect without one. Creating an account with email, Google or Apple keeps your settings across devices and will be required for the paid tier when it launches.
Which devices are supported?
Windows and macOS desktops, Android and iOS phones and tablets, Android TV and Apple TV, plus a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox. One account covers all of them.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in any app and choose Delete account, or use the deletion page on the web. Your account and its data are removed straight away rather than queued for review.
