How to install VPNmine on Android
Install it from Google Play
Use the button above, or search for VPNmine in the Play Store on the device. One listing covers phones and tablets.
Open it and sign in, or skip
You can connect without an account. Signing in with email, Google or Apple keeps your settings across your devices.
Approve the connection request
The first time you connect, Android shows a system dialog asking whether to allow VPNmine to set up a VPN connection. Android shows that dialog for every VPN app, and nothing connects until you approve it.
Pick a country and connect
Choose a server or let the app pick the closest one. The key icon in the status bar shows whenever the tunnel is up.
Android questions
Is VPNmine free on Android?
Yes. The Android app is free on Google Play, with the whole server pool open, no advertising inside the app and no payment method required. A paid tier will arrive later, and the app will say so before it does.
Why does Android warn that the app may monitor network traffic?
Android shows that exact wording for every VPN app, because a VPN by definition carries your traffic. The dialog is the system's guard, not a finding about VPNmine. What we do with the position it grants is published: traffic is routed through the tunnel, and the sites you open are never recorded.
Does VPNmine work on Android tablets?
Yes. The same Play Store listing installs on phones and tablets, with the same account, the same server list and the same absence of ads.
Do I need an account to use the Android app?
No. You can connect without one. An account, created with email, Google or Apple, keeps your settings across devices and will be needed for the paid tier when that launches.
