VPNmine keeps no record of the sites you open, your DNS queries or the content of your traffic; its servers are configured so that data is not written to disk. It does keep which server a session used, when it started and ended and how much data moved, for up to 30 days, plus a device identifier and app version for up to 12 months.
Kept, and for how long
Account data — your email, and a display name if you set one — until you delete the account.
Device data — a random device identifier, platform, OS version and app version — for up to 12 months after the device last connects.
Connection metadata — which server a session used, start and end time, data volume — for up to 30 days. This is not a record of the sites you visited.
Diagnostics — coarse events such as app opened or connection failed — in aggregate. Support correspondence for up to 24 months.
Never kept
The websites, apps or services you reach through the tunnel; DNS queries made through the tunnel; the contents of your traffic in any form; deep packet inspection of any kind; your originating IP address paired with your browsing activity. There is no logging pipeline for this data to enter, so there is nothing to hand over, sell or lose.
Why the connection metadata exists
Capacity planning and abuse handling. A free service that kept literally nothing could not stop someone using it to attack others, and it could not tell which servers need more capacity. Thirty days is the window those two jobs need. Everything else on the list is what a VPN exists to not keep.
