How to add VPNmine to Edge

  1. Open the listing in Edge

    Use the button above from inside Edge. A banner appears at the top of the store page the first time: choose Allow extensions from other stores. That switch is Edge's own feature for exactly this.

  2. Add it

    The store button still reads Add to Chrome — Edge installs it all the same. Confirm the permissions dialog and the extension lands in the toolbar.

  3. Pin it and pick a country

    Pin VPNmine via the puzzle-piece menu, open the popup, sign in or skip, and choose one of the 68 countries.

  4. Know what it covers

    The extension protects Edge only, and InPrivate windows only if you enable Allow in InPrivate in Edge's extension settings. Apps outside the browser keep your normal connection — use the desktop app when the whole machine matters.

Edge questions

Why is there no listing on Edge Add-ons?

Because Edge installs Chrome Web Store extensions natively, one listing serves Chrome, Edge and Opera and always carries the same, current version. A separate Edge Add-ons listing may come later; the extension you get either way is identical.

Is it safe to allow extensions from other stores in Edge?

The switch only lets Edge install from the Chrome Web Store, where listings still pass Google's review before publication. It does not open the browser to arbitrary downloads. You can turn it off again in Edge's extensions settings at any time without removing extensions already installed.

Does the extension work in InPrivate windows?

Only if you allow it: open Edge's Extensions page, choose VPNmine, and enable Allow in InPrivate. Edge disables all extensions in InPrivate by default, so until then, InPrivate browsing uses your normal connection — worth knowing before you rely on it.

Is the Edge extension free?

Yes. The extension is free, with the same 19-country network, no advertising and no payment details required, the same terms as every VPNmine app.
