Does VPNmine work on Mac?
Also asked as: Is there a VPNmine app for macOS? · How do I use VPNmine on a MacBook?
Direct answer
Partly, today. The native VPNmine app for macOS is in preparation and cannot be downloaded yet. On a Mac right now, the VPNmine extension for Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox routes your browsing through the same 19-country network, and the account you create with it will sign straight into the desktop app when it ships.
What the extension covers on a Mac
The browser, and only the browser: Mail, Messages, other apps and the system's own traffic stay on your own connection. On most Macs the browser is where the traffic that matters actually is, so for location and for keeping browsing off an untrusted network it does the job. For whole-device coverage, wait for the app or use a device that has one.
What the app will be
A real desktop client that opens the same WireGuard tunnel to the same server pool as the Windows app, signed in with the same account. The macOS page on this site carries the download the day it is published.
